DoT Urges States to Prefer BSNL, MTNL for Telecom Services, Citing Data Security: Report

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has written to all state governments and Union Territories, urging them to prioritise the services of state-run telecom operators Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd ( BSNL ) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) for internet, broadband, landline, and leased line requirements.
